Spending time outdoors is important for our physical and mental health. Everyone agrees that protecting your skin from the sun is the most important step in your summer skincare routine. Although you should use SPF year-round, it is important to remember this step even more in the summer, since you will probably be spending more time in the sun. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher regularly as directed.
