5 Ways to get ready for a night out
Finally, your big night out is here. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, girl’s night out or a date, your getting-ready routine is even more important. There’s something special about going for a night out (especially in these times) and it deserves some intentional choices.
No matter your typical routine, these steps are some basics that will set you up for success in your night time look. Take your time and enjoy pampering yourself. Everyone needs some self-care and when you put in that time before a big night out, your confidence will shine even brighter.
1. Enjoy a face mask
There are literally dozens of options for face masks, even at the drugstore. While so many choices can be overwhelming, it’s actually to your benefit. Because there are so many variations of face masks, you can find exactly what your skin needs at that moment. If you have regular skin issues, be it dryness, redness, irritation, whatever the issue, there are face masks meant for daily or very regular use. If you generally don’t use face masks, try a single-use sheet face mask. If you need a quick, healing fix and help with pores, consider a clay mask. It can take some extra time, but it’s worth it.
2. Moisturise and prime
Once your skin is clean and you’ve treated yourself to a relaxing face mask, it’s time to make your skin the perfect canvas for your makeup look. Moisturising is important, regardless of skin type. But, while all skin types need moisture, they don’t necessarily need the same moisture. When you shop for a moisturiser, take note of your skin type and focus on moisturizers meant for that, a richer cream meant for dry skin If you have oily skin could make your face look shiny all night.
Once you find the right moisturizer for your skin type, rub it into your clean skin and indulge in a little face massage. This is the perfect time to work out any tension from the work week or daily stress. Keeping massaging until your moisturizer is completely worked in. Then, you need to reach for the primer. Anyone who has accidentally forgotten their primer one day can tell you, there’s a HUGE difference in the duration of the makeup throughout the night.
3. Perfect your eyebrows
Eyebrows are a strong framework for a makeup look. With well groomed, perfectly done eyebrows, your eyes will open and your face will look more polished.
Before you fill in your brows, you’ll need to make sure they are well groomed. That means no stray hairs and a flattering shape. If you want to keep your brows groomed with precision without spending hours doing it, try the Hollywood Browzer and the Hollywood Brow Perfector.
The Hollywood Brow Perfector has everything you need for the strong, clean brows you want. It has a brush to help you find those little hairs that might be hiding. Brush your brows into place and set your shape with this 2-in-1 tool. You can then use the Hollywood Browzer to get rid of any peach fuzz and exfoliate at the same time.
4. Create the perfect foundation

Since you’ve already moisturised, primed and used your Hollywood Browzer Single and Hollywood Browzer Perfector you will be able to have a near-airbrushed finish.
